What a wonderful trip down memory lane we had looking back at the era of the then famous BHYC Revues. Originally launched by David Russell in 1990, under the direction of Hazel Meatyard, with Musical Director Frank Wheeler, adult and cadet members performed and assisted with the productions, some of whom had never sung or acted on stage before. Many of them you know, and some are still members today. The Revues became an annual event on the BHYC calendar, brightening the dull days of February.

A big thank you must go to Jillie for her generosity in sharing BHYC Revues archive footage and help in organising the event, Simon Wheeler for his technical audio/visual expertise, and Karen Wheeler for her key role in keeping things running smoothly.

And a message from Jillie:

'In the words of Noel Coward 'I went to a marvellous party', as there was a definite festive feeling on Saturday when, in spite of Island Roads, over 40 people attended 'BHYC Revisits the Revues The Way We Were'. 10 of those present actually performed in the Revues. And I should like to thank everyone who supported my Raffle, which raised £140 in of aid Guide Dog Puppy 'Vecta of Wight'. Jillie Wheeler'.
