The Bar could be described as the heart and soul of our Club and the Bar staff look forward to welcoming Members and their guests, plus the many visiting sailors who come to BHYC as their venue of choice. This is where members come together for a relaxing drink with friends and to make new friends. Whether for a social drink after sailing, a chance meeting or at an organised event we all enjoy the warm and welcoming environment of the Bar is a part of the Club for all to enjoy.
The Bar offers an extensive range of drinks and snacks, guest ales and Wine of the Month promotions
Payment using your Membership Card gives you a 10% discount off all Bar purchases. You can top up your card when convenient so saving you having to always carry cash, debit or credit cards.

Our current opening times are as follows:
| Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday | 12 noon - 2:30pm, evening closed unless event booked | |
| Thursday and Friday | 12 noon - 2:30pm and 5 - 11pm | |
| Saturday | 12 noon - 11pm | |
| Sunday and Public Holidays | 12 noon - 5pm, evening closed unless event booked | |
| NB: Bar may close early if no members are present |

If the area is not being utilised the staff have been asked to close at their discretion.
