2025 RYA Week: Stage 3

RYA Youth Learn to Sail Stage 3: This course is the natural progression from Stage 2 and is designed to allow you to sail a small single-handed dinghy independently in any direction.

It will go into detail of:

1. Rigging
2. Launching
3. Using rope and knots effectively
4. improving your sailing techniques by deepening your knowledge and skills.

It will introduce you to racing and the technical aspects of how a sail and boat works as well as some of the rules of sailing.

Cadets must be able to swim and be 8 years and over.
