2025 RYA Week: Seamanship

RYA Seamanship: For those wanting to get involved with recreational sailing, this course teaches the adaptivity required to deal with situations when they arise out on the water.

It will go into detail of:

1. Rigging
2. Launching
3. Towing
4. Lee shore and on shore landings
5. Rudderless sailing

Sailors will learn how to handle a boat in all circumstances and solve problems afloat. This will teach sailors to sail in a seamanship like manner and make the right decisions in moderate conditions.
