RYA Assistant Instructor

The Assistant Instructors role is to assist qualified Dinghy Instructors to teach beginners up to the standard of the National Sailing Scheme Level 2 and the Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 3.
The award is specific to the centre of which it is being taught at and cannot be used at a different centre.
The course covers the centre's standard operating procedures, The RYA Teaching method and the role of an Assistance Instructor.
PRE-REQUISITES
1. It is recommended that you hold one of the Advanced Modules such as, Seamanship Skills, Start Racing, Day Sailing etc.
2. Recomendation by the training centre Principal or Chief Instructor.
3. Minimum age: 13 years old
